Director of Research
Mr. Chow joined Pramerica Asia in August 2005 as the research director, covering the property market research in the Asian region. Prior to that, he worked for CB Richard Ellis as an Associate Director in the consulting and research department for more than nine years. In that capacity, Mr. Chow oversaw three other property analysts and was in charge of the business development of the company’s research products, including subscriptions. He analyzed office, investment sales property sectors, and the economy. For all these areas, he contributed quarterly updates to the company’s research publications – MarketView and the Singapore Real Estate Research Report. Mr. Chow has also undertaken a number of consulting assignments, three of which were related to the listings of Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) in Singapore. They are the Mapletree Logistics Trust, the Suntec Real Estate Investment Trust, and the CapitaCommercial Trust.
Mr. Chow has a Master of Finance degree from the RMIT University in Australia. He was a Mathematical Statistics major at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada. He worked in Hong Kong for seven years before he emigrated to Singapore in 1996. In Hong Kong, he worked as a research analyst in a property developer and a property consultancy company. He also worked as an equity analyst in a Singapore-based stockbroking company.
